Make the Road New York seeks a full-time Technology Manager to work out of its Jackson Heights office.

Job Description:
MRNY is seeking an experienced, resourceful, responsible, detail-oriented, and creative Technology
Manager to oversee our use of technology, including oversight of the consultants that maintain our
workstations, network infrastructure, telecom infrastructure, and website; administration of our Salesforce
database; implementation of projects to enhance our technology infrastructure and capacity; and training
of our staff to increase adoption of innovative technologies.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Oversight of IT and Network Administration - oversee our IT vendors; keep regular contact with users
to collect information on quality of services provided by vendors; Directly maintain workstations and
systems not maintained by external vendors; procure new hardware; manage annual IT budgets and
expenditures.
* Database Design and Management - Administer MRNY`s Salesforce instance, which captures all data
related to our programming and services, administration, finance, development, and human
resources. Deploy new custom objects, applications, and workflow. Expand use of reports and
dashboards by managers and staff. Train leaders in each department in basic database
administration, such as creation of new fields, editing page layouts, and building custom views and
reports. Train new hires in basic use of database.
* Technology and Strategy Innovation - identify and implement new technologies and tools to support
specific teams and departments, as well as the overall mission of the organization. Implement, with
the help of vendors as-needed, special projects that leverage technology to increase productivity.
Qualifications:
* Experience administering a Salesforce database.
* Experience as a project manager, including oversight of consultants, collaborative work with other
team members in a fast-paced environment, and experience designing and working from plans with
specific responsibilities and timelines
* Ability to strategically assess needs, evaluate variety of technology solutions and design plans to
meet those needs
* Experience and proven ability to work with staff at a variety of comfort levels with technology
* Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Location:
The position will be based primarily in MRNY`s office in Jackson Heights, Queens. Will require regular
travel to our other facilities in Brooklyn and Staten Island. Car preferred.
